How To Have A Good Memory
As you have known that learning at university is not convenient, so all students are have to study hard and also do more researches that relevant to their studies. So as to get a good grade in the class is not easy. This means that they have to compete with other student in order to stand out in the class. As a result, they have to use their brains to find the solutions. In fact, some students have low memory. They cannot remember well for what their lecturers have just taught them, and they can easily forget them, but for students who have good memory, they can still remember very well. So in order to have good memory, we can follow these tips about the ways
First of all, it is very important for your mind to work optimally for you to drink a lot of water because it can help your brain, and then you are able to work to your full potential. In fact, if your brain is dehydrated, it works below its capacity, so you should drink a lot of water to help your brain work well and then you can study well.
Second, brain food is also important. The key to ensuring the right diet for the brain is to have a balanced diet. This means that so as to have a balanced diet, your diet should have be a balance of proteins, vitamins, carbohydrates, vegetables, rice and fruits. You should avoid any kind of stimulant such as; alcohol, tobacco, and caffeine as well as trying to eat less fat, less salt and less chocolate because these foods can affect your brain if you try them.
Third, there is a famous saying: “a healthy body leads to a healthy mind.” This means that if you look after your body by doing exercise, it will increase your chances to have a better memory. Moreover, you can do physical exercise like; jogging, walking, aerobics or swimming because exercise can help you have the healthy body and then you can study well; also you don’t wish to learn because of your health.
Fourthly, you should think positively. Try not to think negatively. This means that your attitude can determine your attitude and how you think about your learning can affect your performance of your memory. It is said that if you think you can; you can, but if you think you cannot, you cannot. Because when you think you can, you will be willing to do that thing as much as possible as you could and you will try your best to get success in that thing, but if you think you cannot, thing as possible as you could and you will try your best to get success in that thing, but if you think you cannot, you do not have willingness to do that thing and also you are de-motivated, and after that you will not get success in that thing. In addition, you should try to think about your learning in terms of what you can do rather than what you can’t.
Fifth, you should make regular deposition in your memory bank. The key to remembering what you have learned is to review regularly and make notes from your study to help you remember quickly and easily. Provided you don’t use it, you will lose it some time, so it is very important that you review your lesson every week, every month and every three months so as to keep them fresh in your mind.
Sixth, this is also the way to remember. In fact, for what you try to learn, you can simplify it and make notes based on key words and phrases. You should try to reduce what you need to remember by writing those words into small cards, which you can carry around with you in your pocket, and look at them whenever you have free time. Furthermore, you should try to create patterns and relationships between things that you need and to remember. This can help the brain link together and store them in your memory. Make sure you have the tools you need such as; highlighter-pens, post-it notes small cards and different colored-pens.
In addition, you should make a goal for your study. If you do not have a specific goal for your study, you will not be willing to learn at all, so it is easier to remember if you really want to study. This means that if you are motivated and have a goal that you are trying to achieve, you will try your best so as to get the success in your goal and this goal should be a smart goal, and should be specific, measurable, achievable, realistic and time-bound. Moreover, you should make a regular time table for your study and study-plan and also try to stick to it.
Furthermore, sleeping is also important. This means you can sleep enough to get success. You should sleep between seven to eight hours a night because body needs time to rest and restore the energy to both body and mind. When you are sleeping, your sub-conscious mind is still working and can also be trained to help you come up with some solutions to deal with the problems. If you sleep less than seven or eight hours, your brain won’t work well, so when you study, you don’t fell well in learning.
In addition, you should have creative idea and fun because this can help you to get success in your study. In this technique you should try to make your learning interesting and fun by being more creative. You can changes some work which is negative and turn it into a more positive word. This is allow your mind to be excited about your study instead of having a more negative view about it.
In conclusion, having a good memory is very important for all the students that want to become outstanding students and also want to get success in their future careers. As a result, you can follow these tips to get good memory and then you will easily get a better grade inside the class also can stand out around many students.
